What Is CareLine And How Does It Work?
Help is summoned by pressing a small button on your Pebble, which can be worn as a bracelet or necklace. Alternatively, the Pebble can be secured to an item of clothing using a simple built-in clip. The Pebble is lightweight and should not cause you any issues with attaching it to any clothing. Once the button is pressed, we are able to communicate with you via the loud speaker on the base unit (which our engineer will have installed in a convenient location in your home). From there we would talk to you to assess the situation and send the relevant help, which would either be a nominated family member, friend or the Emergency Services.

Our Partners’ Fully Managed Clinical Solution is one of the only telehealth services in the country to be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC),for triage and medical advice, provided remotely. We care about our Customers and aim to provide a reliable and cost-effective service to them all.
What Distance Will The Pendant Work From The Alarm Base Unit?
Generally speaking your pendant will work within around 100 meters from the alarm base unit.
Will The System Affect My Home Phone?
No. The alarm base unit will not affect your home phone.
Can The Same Alarm Base Unit Monitor More Than One Person?
Yes.
This is an excellent idea! If you have someone else living in your home, which may also benefit from using a CareLine Care alarm system, there is no extra monitoring fee for an extra Pebble pendant. If there is a second user in the home, you just need to provide us with their details. Additional Pebble pendants are available when you purchase an alarm, for a one-off fee of £49 plus VAT.
Can I Still Use The Alarm System If I Am Unable To Supply Any Key holders?
Yes!
We understand not everybody is able to supply a reliable key-holder. If this is the case, we would require you to have a key safe installed which will enable the emergency services to gain entry to your property securely.
We are able to supply a key safe for you if it is required.
Can I Use The Pendant In The Shower/Bath?
Yes.
The Pebble/pendant we supply you with is fully waterproof. We would urge you to keep the Pebble pendant within reach whilst in the bath or shower, as this is where most trips, slips and falls occur
What Will Happen If I Accidentally Press The Button?
Please don’t worry about accidentally pressing the button.
We would simply speak to you via the system’s loudspeaker at which point you can make the call centre aware that no help is needed. In fact, we would be very happy to hear you are well and safe.
